The 100 Best Male Blogs of 2014

I started writing Chivalrous in part because of the dire number of male bloggers that I was aware of. Having come across some truly fantastic blogs (and truly fantastic guys) over the past year, I've decided to create a definitive guide to the 100 Best Male Blogs of 2014, all in one place. For your ease I have categorised them in their most relevant categories: Fashion, Lifestyle & Culture, SEO, Relationships, Daddy, Team and DIY. They are in no particular order, however it should be noted that they have all been deemed great blogs in terms of their aesthetics, photography, user-experience, content and personality. I hope you enjoy.

  1. Thanks Bob, as a fairly new bloke to blogging about 'stuff' I like from the male grooming world it has made me smile to make the list. There are loads on here I hadn't heard of but I'm going to make it my mission over the next few days to check them all out. Stephen :o)

    1. Hey Stephen, thanks for the comment. I'm glad that the list will be useful! And I'm really happy that there are 'newer' blogs on the list like yourself - it just shows that you don't have to have been established for a long time to have great content!

  3. Thanks so much for the inclusion Bob!

It does seem like male bloggers are crowded out by our female counterparts, so it's nice to see a list like this. I've definitely got some fresh reading material too, especially in the SEO category!

    1. No worries Ben - I especially enjoyed your Tom Cruise post, it was awesome!

And yeah, I agree, male blogs do seem to get a bit lost in the multitude of female blogs, so it's nice to have a decent log on the great male ones out there :)

  4. I read a number of male blogs already, although they're not included on your list. Um--we're all people. Does it matter if we're male or female? I guess it does if the subject is about fathering. Hehe. But seriously, male or female, writers deserve our praise for their dedication and consistency. The link below is the only one I can use. However, you can find my daily blog at: http://bit.ly/JBC6am

    1. Hi Francene! I totally agree that it doesn't matter whether you're a male or female blogger, and at the end we follow blogs for their quality and their personality irrespective of gender. This is simply categorising male blogs together - and to be fair, there are some blogs on the list that are written either fully or in part by women for a male audience like Style Girlfriend, Simply Maybe and The Good Men Project - so I'm certainly not saying male bloggers are any better than female ones! :) There are many female blogs that I follow who have fantastic blogs, but I wouldn't be the person to compile a list like this for their blog categories, because I don't know enough about their fields, whereas in comparison to male blogs I feel I have a much better understanding and familiarity of their content.

  5. This is amazing! Thank you so much for including my blog. I am really happy and honoured to be included in your list. In a heavily female dominated blogosphere I think its absolutely vital that we are reminded of the male writing talent out there. This is doing a marvellous job of that! :-)
